  • WOTSO WorkSpace 194 Varsity Parade Varsity Lakes Australia (map)

Have you got something you'd love to share with media, but don't know how? Or perhaps you have been trying to gain media exposure for your business with little success?

Join us on Saturday, 24 August from 10am to 1pm at WOTSO WorkSpace Gold Coast for a 3-hour workshop exploring how you can use public relations to catapult you and your business forward, and learn how you can help control the way your brand is talked about.

If you've ever wondered how some people and their businesses regularly appear in media such as the Today Show, the Courier Mail or the ABC, you're not alone. We'll spend the morning giving you the insights and tools you need to position yourself as an expert in your field, and show you how you too can have your business seen in the media.

The workshop will cover the following:

  • Understanding of the current media landscape, what gets picked up by media and tips for communicating with journalists, editors and producers

  • Learn how to find and create compelling and newsworthy media angles for your business

  • Learn how to identify 'newsworthy' media angles and stories to bring your business exposure, get people talking and get you and your brand seen

  • Learn how to pitch your story to media

  • Tips for maximising your existing content

  • Basic media training
